Case study 9: Design and analysis of experments on pollen grain germination and viability rates of the leguminous <i>Sesbania Sesban</i> (L.) Merr tree species

Study design/Experiment 1

Six flower buds, two of length 20, two of length 21 and two of length 22 mm, were randomly selected from three different directions of the tree. Six buds were considered to be the maximum number that could be used in order to allow sufficient time for counting germination rates at each of the sucrose concentrations to be tested.
